Day 4 of the National Veterans Summer Sports Clinic NVSSC .  We are seeing so many more double amputees this week, an unfortunate combat injury trend.  At the same time, it’s amazing to see the spirit of these men and women who served us.  It’s amazing to see their smiles, it’s very contagious and can get very emotional for us volunteers.  For most of us, the NVSSC is the highlight of our year.  There is noting that compares to giving back to those who gave so much to our country.
